Enrolling into the Apple Developer Program: Step by step guide

Apple ID

To enrol into the Apple Developer Program, you must use an Apple ID login. If you own an Apple device currently, like an iPhone or iPad, you may already have an Apple ID. However, it is highly recommended that the email address you use, as your Apple ID, relates to the content of your App. If your App is for a business, it is recommended that the email address contains the name of the business.

1 . To begin the process of creating an Apple ID, start by clicking the link found below.

Get Started.

2 . Fill in the form details of your new Apple ID. You will be asked to confirm the email address in a later step. The email address that you use must be a pre-existing email address.

Remember: It is highly recommended that the email address you use relates to the content of your App. If the App and the developer account do not end up matching, Apple will potentially reject the app.

Once you have entered all your details, click “Continue” found at the bottom of the page.

3 . On completion of the registration form, you will be asked to verify the email address used to create your Apple ID. Open your phone or computer’s default email software that you use for the email address you have used (gmail, outlook etc).
